In the 13th century of Marco Polo’s time, the two ancient civilizations of Italy and China echoed but not acquainted each other. People were always fascinated by the wild imaginations of the unknown distance, which were to be illustrated by the travelers like Marco Polo with their footprints and pens. Along the Silk Road came the travelers of merchants, missionaries, and explorers among the ringing of camel bells from the deep history. The exhibition leads you through the footsteps of Marco Polo.
